Our Stud Service Agreement
Bitch & Owner Information
1. The Stud Fee & Payment Structure
Our stud service requires a $100 non-refundable fee at the time of the initial service. If the Bitch is confirmed pregnant, the remaining balance of $900 is strictly due by day 40 of the pregnancy (calculated from the date of the initial breeding service). Canterbury Canines accepts Cash or approved electronic payment methods.
2. Health & Testing Requirements
The Bitch MUST be fully up to date on all vaccinations, be in exceptional health, and free of all communicable diseases or parasites.
3. Failed Pregnancy
If the Bitch fails to conceive, the Bitch Owner must provide documentation from a licensed Veterinarian via Ultrasound or Radiograph confirming the failed pregnancy. This documentation must be promptly provided prior to day 40 following the initial breeding service to formally waive the remaining balance of the Stud Fee. There is strictly no return stud service in the case of a failed pregnancy.
4. Progesterone Testing
For Artificial Insemination (AI), Trans-cervical Insemination (TCI), or Surgical methods, the Bitch Owner is rigorously advised and expected to utilize Progesterone testing to precisely pinpoint ovulation. Failure to utilize proper, veterinary-administered ovulation timing testing may void the return service guarantee at the Stud Owner's discretion. Any costs associated with veterinary services for artificial insemination, progesterone testing, or semen collection/shipping are the sole responsibility of the Bitch Owner and are not included in the Stud Fee.
5. Liability Release
The Bitch Owner expressly releases Canterbury Canines, its owners, and representatives from any liability including but not limited to any accident or injury in regards to the safety and well-being of the people, animals, or vehicles, before, during, and after the breeding.
By electronically signing or physically signing below, you agree to all the terms and conditions outlined in this Stud Service Agreement.
